Yes! Our Rice Straws are safe for use in beverages up to 55°C, making them ideal for soda's, cocktails, smoothies, frappé's, iced coffees and warm drinks like teas and lattes. This temperature range aligns perfectly with the point when hot drinks become comfortably drinkable, ensuring the straws stay sturdy while enhancing your customers’ experience. For best results, we do recommend inserting the straw only once the drink has cooled to a drinkable temperature.
Rice Straws stay in good condition for 2 hours in iced/cold drinks and 1 hour in hot (55°C) beverages, giving your customers plenty of time to enjoy their drinks without the straw softening too quickly.
